Quickly rally to rally to HC?? I don't think so but they may eventually support her if the FBI gives her a free pass for her emails. Sanders supporters may not admit it but many of them think Bernie could be the Democratic Nominee at the DNC Convention if Hillary is indicted. Polls in November could show voters who supported Bernie in the primaries and went with Hillary in the general elections

I talked the other day with Burnie supporters and they said they would vote for Trump before Hillary. They feel she can not be trusted. Then again I work out of a military base.

I think a lot of them will stay home rather than support either Hillary or Trump. Fewer voters on either side have a dog in the fight this year.

I think most of us are waiting too see what happens with all the many, many widespread reports from multiple states of voting fraud and vote supression when it came to the Democratic primary. I won't "flock" to Hillary's camp, but if I really, really have to come November, I'll hold my nose and mark her down.

Then wash down the nasty aftertaste with a fifth of Bourbon.

We could very have the Clintons back in the White House and Elizabeth Warren as the VP. HRC may retain some of the Obama Administration during her first term including Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice, Ash Carter, Bob McDonald, and John Kerry. This would be a Liberal's "Dream Team" but a nightmare for our country. The Clinton Administration could be worst than the Obama Administration with more scandals, & corruption with not many accomplishments to help our country that most think is headed in the wrong direction after 8years under Obama.

I've learned to never underestimate the progressive hatred for Trump. Those who would have actually voted will more then likely flock to HRC to block Trump. That might be enough to swing an already very close race more in her favor. then again, we already learned that popular vote doesn't always matter.

Many who vowed against Trump in favor of Cruz or others are now in line with him. Some are holdouts or won't sway but Trump DID get a jump in support for the same reasons Hillary will. The deciding factors are how many from each side do NOT vote at all, vote opposite party, or choose write-ins. It really boils down to who is more UNpopular in November. As devout Dems grudgingly rally behind Hillary you will see a jump in polls in her favor. I don't like it but it is the expectation based on human nature.

The news report I read actually said that Sanders supporters were about 1/3 democrat with the resting being Republicans and Independents. So I while she might get some, I doubt she will get as many as people think. IN the end, it will really come down to the Independents who really hate HRC, but they are just as likely to write in Sanders, or Gen. Petraeus as anyone else.

Well, remember; the democrats have as many "Tea Partyers" who feel that the democrats in office are not as liberal as they should be. Where the road separates is that the GOP has had a split, the DNC hasn't. So this could be the defining Tea Party moment for the dems. Should Bernie's supporters not back Hilary and push for Bernie to run indy, that would shatter her "guaranteed" victory. So will Hilary pull a kristlnacht and purge the DNC party or will she pull a Europe and make a coalition? A coalition will have it's demands that will push the DNC into areas Hilary doesn't agree with (she's not a JFK dem; she's an FDR dem). So its an indy's dream come true.

No Bernie Sanders supporters will not be drawn in large number to Hillary Rodham Clinton's camp SP5 Mark Kuzinski. The young progressive/liberals were drawn to what Bernie Sanders was telling them.
Hillary's supporters are drawn to her - many because of what she has stood for while others simply because she is a liberal woman and in some cases simply because she is woman.
I expect that some of Bernie's supporters will not vote unless there is a viable, in their mind, third-party candidate.

If Sanders supporters vote for Trump, they will be voting for an anti-establishment candidate, yes. However, if Trump does what he says he’ll do (and if the GOP maintains control of both houses of Congress), all three branches of our government will be in the hands of some of the most right-wing conservatives in memory. That means they’ll do exactly the opposite of the vast majority of Sanders’ proposals and it could take decades to get back to where Sanders has been pointing. Hillary might go about things in a more incremental way than what Sanders has proposed…but that probably would happen anyway with Sanders vs. a Republican House (maybe Senate too). A vote for Trump would be betraying everything Bernie stands for.

If Sanders supporters vote for a liberal third party candidate, they’ll likely take votes away from Hillary and increase the likelihood of a Trump presidency, in which case, see above.

No. And I mean this to no offense to anyone here. But every single Bernie supporter I have come across has been almost cult-like in their devotion to him. In all honesty, I have yet to meet an actual Hillary supporter. So I do not see Bernie supporters jumping to the Hillary camp any time ever.

Historically, voters will rally behind one side or the other, even when they were saying they wouldn't before. It's that "talk is cheap" effect when early polls are taken. So yeah, most will still vote for her, even if it's just a vote against Trump.

If you need a current example, just look at the GOP and Trump. As soon as he won the nomination, it was "get behind the candidate!" He seems intent on screwing that up, but the poll shifts are there to see - Hated Trump 10 minutes ago, swore to never support him, now voting for him.

No Way in May is way easier than No in November. (HAH I am so witty...)

Quickly, no. Many not at all. Bernie is an independent seeking the Democratic nomination, it shouldn't be a surprise that the dnc has created an uphill climb for him. The superdelegates were created precisely because of this scenario. The potential for more than one viable independent makes for a rather interesting election cycle.

Kind of doubt Bernie supporters will jump for Hillary in any big way. They were for him because they didn't like her. Same for most Republicans. They wanted something besides the Washington insiders on the GOP side. What they got was Trump. Mission accomplished, but he isn't my idea of a good candidate for the job. In my opinion, none of us are getting good choices this time.

If Sanders got the nomination, most of the Hell-ary supporters would jump on his back, but most of Bern-out's supporters hate Hell-ary, and would rather not vote or will vote for Trump to keep her out of office.

As a Bernie supporter who has participated in many discussions on the subject, I believe there are two main types of Bernie supporters. There are Liberal Democrats who will probably hold their nose and vote for Clinton, and there are Liberals who normally can't stand Democrats. Sixty percent of those supporting Bernie are in the former group and about twenty percent are in the later group with another twenty percent somewhere in between those two positions. If Clinton is smart, and Trump continues to be outrageous... I believe Clinton will probably get 75-80% of Sanders supporters to vote for her. If she begins moving to the center by supporting TPP, bank deregulation or backpedaling on the $15 an hour minimum wage or Trump tones his rhetoric way down... she could easily wind up with only 60% of Sanders supporters.
