Do you believe in ghosts? Do you think that ghosts exist? Have you had any experiences that you want to share?

Three years ago this coming week, my mom passed away in her sleep. She had cancer and her wishes were that she stay at home until she passed away. During that time, I was one of her care givers along with Hospice and I lived with her until she passed. As a matter of fact, I was holding my mom when she passed. What a gift from God. I thought to myself that how ironic was it that I was holding my mom when she died and when I was born, she was holding me. After her death, I purchased her house from her estate, which is also the home that I grew up in as a child and young adult until I enlisted into the Marine Corps.
Since her death, I feel my mom in the house all the time. One night, while I was sleeping, I could feel her presence. The hair on my arms and on the back of my neck was all tingly and I felt my mom in the room. I swear that I could see her just standing in the doorway of my room looking at me. Yes, I believe that my mom is still in this house looking after me. Have any of you ever had that experience?

Maybe not ghosts per say but I believe that there are angels that are sent to watchover all of us.

Well I believe in the God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit Sgt David G Duchesneau. I also am convinced that each of us is a spirit/soul who for now is intricately part of a human body.
Spirits, angels are immaterial until God allows them to materialize. In the Bible the witch at Endor was terrified when she saw the spirit/ghost of Samuel materialize when Saul asked her to summon him.
That being said I believe there are circumstance when God will allow a spirit to be seen.
People that we love are "with" us in some sense as long as we are alive.
I have never experienced what you are experiencing; but, I don't doubt that you are experiencing it :-)

Went to a evening Dog & Pony at the Hotel Del Coronado. After a few drinks, I excused myself to make a head call. Had to walk down a long wooden-plank floor passageway to get the men's room. About 1/2-way down, I kept hearing footsteps behind me. Each time I turned around to see... nothing. I did my business and double-timed back to the party room. Don't know if I believe in ghosts. But, I am not going to deny they scare me!

Definitely believe in ghosts, have seen what I believe was a ghost or "apparition" and have had several paranormal experiences.

I am from New England, of course I believe in them. Hell every other little town looks like a setting to a Stephen King novel. My folks are from the town of North Scituate, there is an old church and cemetery there, some of the headstones go back to 1640's. I used to trick or treat in that area as my grandparents lived there. Cut through that cemetery and it would scare the crap out of you, as it borders the Scituate Reservoir. Seeing fog in that cemetery was not uncommon, and scary as hell. The pic below is what I could find on the old cemetery. The foreground is the Civil War Memorial, of which I have relatives on.

I've had a strange experience. I can't explain it, but I was house sitting for an Aunt who was a widow. While sleeping in the guest room one night, I was dreaming that someone was poking my back. During the dream, I became aware that the poking was getting deeper in my flesh. It startled me awake, turning around proved there was nothing or no one else in the room. Since adrenaline was pumping, I got up and in the mirror there was a definite red mark where I felt what I thought was a finger digging into the back. Uncle Bud must have been questioning a strange man in the house.

I have seen a couple of ghosts. One was when I was a freshman in high school, and one of my friends mom worked at the La Bastille (French prison) that was located in California where we lived. It was rumored to be haunted by several people that died while they were there and at the courthouse that was next to the prison (there was an outdoor patio area between the buildings). I saw an apparition that was floating in front of me several feet away. when it floated closer to me, I started to see salt and pepper hair, glasses, and that it was a guy, but I didn't see any eyes behind those glasses. Then, when it was four feet from me, it disappeared. I felt a sudden chill, but I wasn't petrified. I was more curious. I went upstairs to where the secretary's office was and remembered that there was a box of old paintings and pictures stuffed in there. As I was shuffling through, I came across the picture of the man I thought I saw. It turned out to be Judge Meadows whom was gunned down by some mafia members that were released from prison, and was killed in the area where I saw him. whoa! my twin sister can SEE ghosts, while I can FEEL them.

Second ghost was when the metal door to the secretary's office (where the guards observed the prisoners while they ate in the dining room when the prison was active) began to rattle violently. My friend didn't touch the door, nor used her foot to rattle the door. We made a beeline down the winding stone stairs and I didn't go back up there for awhile.

My mother passed away at the young age of 32. when I was 6 years old, from cancer. I don't ever recall seeing her spirit but my grandmother had told me numerous times that she had conversations with her after she passed. Maybe she is watching over me because there have been numerous times I shouldn't have walked away from some of the things I walked away from. Maybe it is a combination of her and my Grandmother and a few others. Either way, I cant say one way or the other, but I have had experiences that could never be explained.

I don't know if I believe in ghosts but I do believe the dearly departed spirit watch over us and remind us that they'll always be around. An incident happened decades ago a day or so after my 2 year old brother was laid to rest. As my family were having dinner, we all heard a child's footsteps running upstairs. We all looked at each other and immediately thought it was my brother. That set my mom off crying. Another time was the gathering at my aunt's house after my great aunt's funeral. The doorbell kept ringing even though there was no one to be seen on the porch. I've never asked anyone's opinion about this but back in April 21st of this year, my mom passed away from double hit lymphoma. Hours have passed since my mom's passing and she was really cold to the touch. The funeral director and his assistant came to pick up my mom's body and I asked him if I could have a few more minutes with my mom before they took her away. I took my mom's hand and she felt warm as if she was still alive. I kissed her cheek and felt the same temperature as her hand. I thought I was going crazy so I called my nephew over and told him to hold my mom's hand and feel her face. He confirmed that she did feel warm. I don't know, is it something that happens naturally internally to someone who passed away?

Yes and Yes. I was stationed in Korea ,I woke up out of a sound sleep and looked across the room and there was my Grandmother standing in my room, she looked as real as life and she said I was a good boy and she loved me and not to be sad and disappeared.
Scared the hell out of me so bad I was shaking and I went and called my folks and Dad was crying and said grandma had Just passed away and they were trying to get hold of me. To this day I get the shakes when I think of it.

I grew up in a house that was haunted. Everyone in the family has stories of odd noises, furniture moving on its own and such. Oddly enough we never felt threatened by whatever it was.

Right now I'm in the Philippines staying with the wife family for a few years, just to help make their lives a bit easier for a little while.
After a year of being here it's starting. I'm seeing balls of light zip by. My 12 yr old son sees them too and we both seen the same one once. Right now its 12:11pm and I'm in my nice air conditioned room playing video games and me and my son both saw a flash from behind us. It lit up the room like a camera flash. Ok...weird. Kept playing then again! I jumped like a baby! I got the camcorder going and for an hour now nothing (of course)...but as I'm typing this I caught it out the corner of my right eye, not as bright but definitely should be on camera. Checking now
