This guy is an asshole. He tries to injure opposing players, then plays the "poor me, it was an accident card" I am glad that the league hammered him. Supplemental discipline and repeated warnings yet he decided hip checking Silfverberg's face was a good idea. Being a big Blackhawks fan I remember the hit on Hossa that landed him a 20+ game suspension. It was late, to the head, and its preseason. Have fun riding the pine Raffi. He has shown that he is unable to alter his "style" of play. Hard hitting is one thing. Repeated discipline for illegal contact to the head is another. It won't be long before he is done for good.

It may seem a little counter intuitive to say this, but this is where having an enforcer on the team would be of use. After his first questionable hit, someone would have come over and put him in his place. It just seems to me that there is a correlation between the decline in the role of the enforcer and the increase in illegal hits to the head.
