Iraq is a sovereign nation with it&#39;s own military and government. If they want our help ok, if not ok. That said, I think the Iraqi army can do it on their own, if they really want to. They just might suffer some significant casualties, it all depends how badly they want to hold on to their country. He is a Shiite and the Iranians don't want American troops in Iraq. From what I've read the Iraqis have very good SOF it's the regular troops that are sectarian run.
