Do smart phones annoy you?

To be fair, it's not the smart phones themselves that are annoying but rather the way people use them. All the time. Everywhere. Loudly. Ignoring the people around them, especially you and I. I know. I know. I'm not talking about us. We don't abuse technology, do we? (Although, in all honesty) I'm not so sure about you.

The thing about smart phones that annoy me is how those smart phones make people very stupid and lazy. Need to know how heavy the traffic is and when it's safe to cross the street....there's an app for that.

I patently refuse to join the "dark side"...my archaic little LG with, " the washer glued to the back so it will ride on the magnet on the dash" and I will continue to live in the '90's because that's how we roll.

My wife works at an upscale restaurant a couple of days a week and was asked why she came by the table 10 times and did not take their orders. She always says, when everyone is off there phone and ready, I will be too. One table complained and the owner suggested they enjoy there meal not their phone.

Absolutely. I am probably in the minority for those born anytime after the 80s, but it seems like anyone can hold a phone, but no one can hold a conversation. "Millennials" as everyone seems to refer to this generation, have no idea how to look someone in the eye, shake a hand, or socialize. I promise you, if you try to start up a conversation with a millennial they won't be able to go 8 seconds (please count) without getting quiet and looking at their phone - often times for no reason other than to avoid eye contact.. I cannot stand it. Whenever my wife and I go out I leave my phone in my pocket.. I used to leave it in the car until I got counseled about not having my phone on me 24/7 by my CoC.. -_- But yes - this phone generation has gone way downhill. No one even knows how to spell anymore. As far as grammar is concerned, that has completely gone out the window!
