To save you some time they say (summarized). you have to remove them (at personal cost) if they are extremist, racist, etc... other than that you should be grandfathered in. If you intended to go Warrant or to OCS and they are outside of the new standard you are out of luck. Your tattoos that are out of regulation will have to be documented and measured. Then they will be uploaded to iperms with photos of your tats along with a memo. Any new tattoo that doesn't follow the regulation will have to be removed.
