Do nursing licenses require a "hands-on" test? And is it possible to do a LPN to BSN program online?

I am thinking about getting back in as a 68C. I have a few questions about nursing license tests.
1. For LPN or RN licenses are there "psychomotor" or "hands-on" tests you must pass? For example, as an EMT-B, I had to take a psychomotor test to demonstrate I knew the common procedures.
2. Do 100% online LPN to RN programs exist?

SGT, it is a mix of didactic and patient contact hours. Essentially practice what you’ve learned. Difficulty gradually increases throughout the course. The course culminate with you transitioning to preceptorship, basically flying with limited supervision by that point you’re ready to take your NCLEX exam for your license.
Question 2. I don’t believe there is a LPN to RN. That is completely on line.

In short: no, you must have clinical time and put hands on patients not only for the experience but for evaluation of bedside manner etc.
Once you have one nursing licensure under your belt there are reduced clinical times for active nurses in some online programs.

Not in Wisconsin. It’s a computerized, multiple choice exam, that is usually 75 questions, but can be up to 325, depending on how you do. (The difficulty of the questions are progressive, when you answer one correctly, you get a more difficult one in that area, until you have shown proficiency).
