Are Nuclear Non-proliferation treaties enough? Let us hope so.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 27 at 2016 1:43 AM2016-11-27T01:43:25-05:002016-11-27T01:43:25-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member2111927<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think it does. Right now many countries don't feel the need to develop their own nuclear weapons because they have treaties with the big boys who do. As for the non-signers of the treaty...I don't see South Sudan developing nuclear weapons any time soon. India and Pakistan are in an arms race, but since both countries have nukes I see it as being a balance. As for Israel, well, they have issues with their neighbors so who can blame them.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 27 at 2016 12:56 PM2016-11-27T12:56:03-05:002016-11-27T12:56:03-05:00SFC Pete Kain2111938<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No, but they make the weak feel better. It's utterly ridiculous. There must be better checks and balances put into place when there are Nuclear treaties made and agreed to.Response by Sgt Kelli Mays made Nov 28 at 2016 10:53 PM2016-11-28T22:53:22-05:002016-11-28T22:53:22-05:00SFC Mitch Mobus2118558<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SSG Chase, if you would like to hear the opinion of a former DTRA auditor/inspector, drop me a line.
