Being a 92G and seeing that cooks on first shift are at work by 0400, I&#39;d wager a 1SG or CSM will ensure you have a place that is close to the DFAC. As long as you&#39;re not with a spc or below no regs are being violated. When I was serving stateside at Yakima Training Center, Bothe my commander and 1SG had their own rooms in the barracks. The barracks there are pretty nice compared to a lot of places. But you get the option for off post housing as well as you&#39;re an E5.
