Being a 92G and seeing that cooks on first shift are at work by 0400, I'd wager a 1SG or CSM will ensure you have a place that is close to the DFAC.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made May 24 at 2017 2:59 PM2017-05-24T14:59:41-04:002017-05-24T14:59:41-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member2596483<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends on the unit you are in, the newer barracks that they built here, you would have your own room but you would share a bathroom and kitchen area with a roommate. the older barracks are set up the same way I believe just not as nice.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 24 at 2017 4:32 PM2017-05-24T16:32:17-04:002017-05-24T16:32:17-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member2597528<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know at Fort Riley, the NCOs always had their own rooms, and their suite mates tended to be other NCOs or a SPC(P) if there was no other option and rooming was that scarce.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made May 24 at 2017 11:58 PM2017-05-24T23:58:02-04:002017-05-24T23:58:02-04:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member2597640<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You will have your own roomResponse by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made May 25 at 2017 1:27 AM2017-05-25T01:27:12-04:002017-05-25T01:27:12-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member2598294<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No sponsor or looking at assignment options?Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 25 at 2017 10:44 AM2017-05-25T10:44:02-04:002017-05-25T10:44:02-04:00SGT Rob Saylor2599869<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was at Carson 95-99, it was luck of the draw. As long as you're not with a spc or below no regs are being violated. Worse comes to worse you can always contact fsbp and find out the specific regs for Carson.<br />Fort Carson 2011-2013Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made May 28 at 2017 3:33 AM2017-05-28T03:33:18-04:002017-05-28T03:33:18-04:00SGT Chase Waterman2609566<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They will if they have space in your barracks. When I was serving stateside at Yakima Training Center, Bothe my commander and 1SG had their own rooms in the barracks. I would advise asking your first line leader, and if he/she does not have an answer right away, I assure you they will by COB or at final formation<br /><br />V/R<br />SPC Worley, JosephResponse by SPC Joseph Worley made May 31 at 2017 12:12 PM2017-05-31T12:12:05-04:002017-05-31T12:12:05-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member2616866<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know when I was at Fort Carson you would get your own room with a kitchenette. The barracks there are pretty nice compared to a lot of places.
