Last I heard for active duty the peak is a six year contract for $35K/YR. Previously it had been $20K/YR. I racked up over $160K over eight years.Response by MAJ Byron Oyler made Mar 2 at 2020 4:52 PM2020-03-02T16:52:40-05:002020-03-02T16:52:40-05:00MAJ Byron Oyler5621188<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>1LT, feel free to shoot me any questions, I have been a 66S since 2007 and on active duty since 2003.Response by MAJ Byron Oyler made Mar 2 at 2020 4:57 PM2020-03-02T16:57:58-05:002020-03-02T16:57:58-05:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member5621791<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a target="_blank" href="https://www.dfas.mil/militarymembers/payentitlements/Pay-Tables/HPO5.html">https://www.dfas.mil/militarymembers/payentitlements/Pay-Tables/HPO5.html</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">

I recommend to defer sign-on bonus and when you assess onto active duty opt for current 6yr/$35k special pay retention bonus w/ special pay tech at your duty station. Refer to DFAS link from <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="380596" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/380596-66f-nurse-anesthetist-beaumont-amc-wrmc">MAJ Private RallyPoint Member</a>. I am currently a 66S active duty, pay and ceiling is higher vs our civilian counterparts, goodluck!Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 4 at 2020 10:54 AM2020-03-04T10:54:22-05:002020-03-04T10:54:22-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member5684766<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We get bonus pay if contracts are available. Usually have to sign a 4-6 year commitment though.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 21 at 2020 10:33 AM2020-03-21T10:33:12-04:002020-03-21T10:33:12-04:002020-03-02T16:44:02-05:00
