Do any artist on here use airbrushes? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-any-artist-on-here-use-airbrushes <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am thinking about getting a new one. I have had my old Paache H1 (single action) forever and I got a used Paache Millemium (double action) from another taxidermist that closed his shop. I was leaning towards a Badger Krome but after reading some of the reviews it sounds like there quality is questionable these days. Any suggestions? Good or ones to stay away from. Thanks in advance.<br /> Sun, 07 Aug 2022 20:13:08 -0400 Do any artist on here use airbrushes? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-any-artist-on-here-use-airbrushes <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am thinking about getting a new one. I used to use one to touch up the paint on old electronics. I worked mostly with wrinkle and hammertone paints, but I sometimes needed to touch u lines or lettering that was worn or scraped. These days, I only have a cheap on from Harbor Freight. Are there smaller nozzles for the one you have? Do you use a drying cartridge? Do you use a regulator? Compressed air, or canned gas?<br />There are small regulators that can be used close to the air brush, but you need a short hose to maintaining constant air pressure.<br />I used one on my paint gun over 50 years ago, and everyone laughed. Tese days, it is a common sight. Here are a couple small regulators:<br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools-compressors/air-compressor-accessories/digital-air-flow-regulator-68245.html">https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools-compressors/air-compressor-accessories/digital-air-flow-regulator-68245.html</a><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools-compressors/air-compressor-accessories/brass-air-inline-regulator-68220.html">https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools-compressors/air-compressor-accessories/brass-air-inline-regulator-68220.html</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/732/240/qrc/open-uri20220808-4106-gtjmk2"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools-compressors/air-compressor-accessories/digital-air-flow-regulator-68245.html">Digital Air Flow Regulator</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> SPC Michael Terrell Sun, 07 Aug 2022 21:21:15 -0400 2022-08-07T21:21:15-04:00 Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made Aug 8 at 2022 12:19 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-any-artist-on-here-use-airbrushes?n=7812777&urlhash=7812777 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am glad my hobbies are not as nerdy as yours.
