SFC Private RallyPoint Member 307133

Why is there such a big difference between the Army National Guard and the Active force? What is the National Guard missing? We know it's only "part time" but the communication in between drills are close enough to not forget there is a mission and there are requirements/obligations that need to be met. At least that's how I see the difference. And it seems to be a major difference (or was, when I was on active duty). There are AD units that make the worst of the Nasty Guard seem like boyscouts by comparison.
It is an ode to the culture and the leadership of the unit that defines the professionalism of a unit.
