With all of our sophisticated intelligence organizations (US and otherwise) and all the research done by them individually and collectively over an extended period of time, I would like to think that this knowledge is not some revelation like situation. If it was the highest ranking captive in Iraqi, Syria, peshmerga or USA and allied nation's custody that would be another story. <br />I am not sure how rank is calculated by captors of ISIS prisoners.
