I've known it was coming, but I haven't been following the progress as closely as I normally would. I find myself shaking my head at the cost overrun and schedule delay. From the article: "It has taken nearly 15 years to get to this point in the development of a new tanker..." Hello, Boeing, you've built tankers for us before! I know it's been a few years and that particular brain trust has long since retired, but it's not as if you're designing a completely new airframe from scratch.
