Is much easier and convenient for me and I usually have then between 3-5 working days. I think it is a worthwhile program! The site I use is "My Health eVet": <br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.myhealth.va.gov/mhv-portal-web/anonymous.portal?_nfpb=true&_nfto=false&_pageLabel=mhvHome">https://www.myhealth.va.gov/mhv-portal-web/anonymous.portal?_nfpb=true&_nfto=false&_pageLabel=mhvHome</a><br /><br />Not only can you reorder your prescriptions, this site has many options for managing your health care and ties directly to the VA system, to include secure messaging for direct contact with your health care team. I recommend all veterans give it a try if you haven't already. :)Response by MSgt Curtis Ellis made Dec 13 at 2015 12:35 PM2015-12-13T12:35:50-05:002015-12-13T12:35:50-05:001SG Private RallyPoint Member1172328<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The mail order system has always seemed like a good OPTION to me, especially since some of the "gonna be on that med the rest of my life" medications can be obtained in 90 day supplies (4 times a year instead of every month). Another positive solution that the mail order system provides is that a trip to the pharmacy is very difficult for veterans that suffer from PTSD. That being said is there are always Pros & Cons to every system. Homeless veterans generally do not have an address to deliver their meds to...also, if a vet needs to get a med quickly, there is no quick fix (they have to wait for the mail).Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 13 at 2015 12:58 PM2015-12-13T12:58:38-05:002015-12-13T12:58:38-05:00LTC Stephen F.1172346<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I concur with Sgt Richard Buckner and <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="201593" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/201593-msgt-curtis-ellis">MSgt Curtis Ellis</a>. My medicines are mailed to me from the VA. The only exceptions are medicines from teh VA MC emergency room and any medicine changes which are the result of my cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedic, or ophthalmology appointments.Response by LTC Stephen F. made Dec 13 at 2015 1:07 PM2015-12-13T13:07:45-05:002015-12-13T13:07:45-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member1172438<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-72469"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">

I signed up with My Healthy Vet, and I order on line, and before I receive them, I get an email with a tracking number I can check to find out where they are. The only catch is, after a week of receiving them, you need to reorder so you get the refills before you run out. The doctors prescribing them, plan for you to have an appointment with them before you run out, and they give you more prescriptions. If you are 60% or more disabled the prescriptions are at no cost.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 13 at 2015 2:10 PM2015-12-13T14:10:01-05:002015-12-13T14:10:01-05:00PO2 Sam Messer1173697<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>order mine thru myhealthvet online, must call in for hydrocodone every month what a pain in the Butt... also check appointments on line.Response by PO2 Sam Messer made Dec 14 at 2015 12:51 AM2015-12-14T00:51:32-05:002015-12-14T00:51:32-05:001SG George Sr1249249<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Good deal too.
