I was part of that class which changed the tradition of USMA, West Point being limited to men. We went down the rappelling cliff were on the orienteering range and stayed in the barracks dorms and ate in the main dining hall.that was truly one!of my best memories I have obviously. An early Commandant, in fact, was a Captain. Captain Partridge would later be credited with establishing our Nation's first ROTC-like program at Vermont's Norwich U.
