These are some of the oldest living organisms on the planet, and their loss, to me, would catastrophic and criminal. Do you think measures should be taken (and 'measures' of course, means money) to save them? Me? I'd sure rather spend on that than to keep giving Pakistan money to not nuke India, or whatever.
