I wouldn't say I excelled but I did well in it. I went into my MOS not knowing much, if anything, about vehicles in general. There were at least a few that were definitely more versed than me in my platoon. What about you?

Well, I exceeded Army Standards when I graduated all three of my AIT's.

I did in most of them. I did great in supply, Ada Intel ops, tank driver I did ok and same for tats crewman. The only one I didn't pass was public affairs because they put me in wrong class. I still passed all the written & most of the radio work. I failed my radio final by one sec. I had to do 5 stories plus intro & outro in 2 minutes, did it in 2:01 and had to go back to old unit where I was retired from two years later.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I won the Outstanding Trainee Award in Infantry AIT.
