Did you complete quick survey Rasmussen Reports sent out on behalf of RallyPoint?

On Monday 10/26/2015 I received an email from the RallyPoint team inviting me to take part in a survey prepared by Rasmussen reports. The email indicated the results would be posted by Veterans Day. Since Veteran's Day was mentioned I expected the survey to focused on veterans issues. Instead the survey was focused on high-level political issues including what we thought of President Barrack Obama and candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. Did you receive the survey email? What are your thoughts? I request that you provide respectful responses :-)

I completed the survey because RallyPoint sent it out to me. I was expecting it to be touching or focused primarily on veterans issues. I thought the survey was short and generally well constructed with clear questions and clear multiple choice response choices. Since the only people the survey asked us to rate were President Barrack Obama and candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton I thought the survey was liberal leaning only in terms of the information which should result from it.
In Virginia, we have a state wide and local office election next Tuesday so we are inundated with political surveys and mailings :-)

I love the irony of your checking up on a survey with a survey. And no, I guess I didn't fit the criteria or was simply overlooked randomly.

The survey was definitely about the left-wing candidates, but I thought the answer choices permitted all opinions to be expressed as well as possible in the multiple-choice survey format.

LTC Stephen F. - Colonel; I completed the survey and thought that it was as balanced as any survey done by Rasmussen ever is - especially considering that it was being done of a self-selected population with next to no actual controls. The survey results are probably going to be as "valid" as any other survey of this type are - as far as the group who chose to take part in the survey (which is going to be less than the total RP audience [which is less than the US military {which is less than the US population}]) is concerned.

Great post LTC Stephen F.. Sorry,I never got a survey. I wouldn't have answered those political questions anyway. It's my business what or how I feel about a politician and how they do their job. Glad you're back.
