Did the President go far enough with his denunciation of the KJU threat on Guam?

Normally, I'm all for diplomacy, but KJU should be told, in no uncertain terms, that an actual attack on US territories or allies would result in a swift regime change in North Korea. And he should be prepared to follow through.

I feel he was a bit indecisive and noncommittal in his response recently. "Fire and fury" are words that mean nothing.

North Karea may be a strong force but how many times have they come through with there threat?! Non. It's the same as China if they do, there only waking a sleeping dragon. Trump knows it and so does Kim. He would be signing his own death Warrent.

I for one would not shed a tear if a dozen Tomahawk missiles landed on the North Korean supreme leaders palace while he was there! I long as we take out the main target I doubt if the leadership remaining would retaliate-they would be too busy struggling to seize power for themselves.

President likely means "fire and fury" and would eventually nuke them if NK attacked us or one of our allies. He needs to deliver on his promises and not just talk though.

Bubba tried to placate the porcine one's father in 1994-96. That worked well didn't it. If chubby initiates hostilities - he will find that Trump is not bluffing. Do I think Trump will pull the trigger and launch a preemptive strike? That is the $64,000 question that Kim Fatty the Third has to ask himself. Yet the liberal/progressive/democrats are already criticizing him for even saying that. Sorry, last time I checked NK has been threatening to attack the U.S. for a while now, and not only are they continuing to do so, but now have the capability to actually nuke us.

MAJ Bryan Zeski IMHO, KJU is saber-rattling for two distinct reasons. First, his getting the attention he's wanted. Many of the world leaders, save for China's, don't have much in the way of dealings with NK and generally take his provocations with a grain of salt. However, with Donald Trump, a person that has shown that he doesn't ignore anyone or anything that threatens or insults him, is playing into NK's game of tit-for-tat verbal provocation masterfully. Second, and it should have dawned on me sooner than it did, the 2018 Winter Olympics are happening in PyeongChang and NK is hoping that they can cause enough nervousness and uncertainty in the region to either reduce the number of countries willing to send their people to the Games or to have them cancelled all together, which would serve two purposes, in my estimation. Utterly embarrass South Korea (which is always the goal) and show that NK is a power to be respected and feared

Well what I think we need to do is nothing beyond the non military actions we are already taking. Either KJU will keep talking crap and look the fool when he doesn't do anything or he will put his money where his mouth it. Since China clearly said they would intervene if we attacked first but would stay neutral if NK attacked first, this is the best option. If KJU doesn't actually do anything, then he looses credibility. This is useful to us. However, if he decides to up the ante and hit us or our allies, we should annihilate that country from the face of the earth while making it VERY VERY clear that we are not going to cross the Yalu. That's where MacArthur messed up last time. He was pretty vocal about wanting to expand the war into China. However, this of course is essentially sacrificing peoples' lives but sometimes it comes down to the numbers. Sacrifice some so that more can live. Don't get me wrong this is not a good option, but it is the least negative option over a series of even worse options.

Trump needs to go to Guam and Dare Kim, I'll go with him. If he is there an attack on Guam becomes the annihilation of North Korea. I"ll stand beside our Beloved Leader to the end

I believe this "war of words" is a waste of time. Let the Fat Boy bluster all he wants. He already knows that an attack on a U.S. military base is the same as an attack on the U.S. mainland. All of the posturing is nonsense. If and when he initiates an attack, it should be the end of North Korea and the Kim line.
