Did the movie 13 hours at Benghazi actually happen as depicted or do you still support HRC and BO as saying it was over a burned Koran ?

This interview with some of the participants/survivors of Benghazi that swear the movie is how it happened and not a demonstration gone bad. I saw the movie 13 hours at Benghazi on Netflicks and these men survived the odds though the Ambassador and 3 others lost their lives. We know that Benghazi attack was not a spontaneous response to the movie released by the Florida pastor or any Quran burning LTC Private RallyPoint Member.
The actual details are most likely still too highly classified to releasable any time soon. We know that most likely Ambassador John Christopher "Chris" Stevens was at the site in Benghazi to "oversee" the transfer of Libyan rebel arms to be sent to Syria to arm Syrian rebels with weapons that could not be traceable back to the USA.
I would expect that the movie 13 hours is a fairly credible depiction of what went down and what failed to be executed that day.

There were protests related to the Innocence of Muslims films going on around the world at the time. There seems to have been some confusion for the first week about who attacked and why... after that they calling it a terror attack.

The real reason for the attack likely had more to do with Paula Braodwell's statement to the media in October of 2012: ""Now I don't know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually -- had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner and they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that's still being vetted," she said."

It's impossible for me to say that the movie depicts events as they occurred accurately or not, LTC Private RallyPoint Member. I tend to believe the accounts of those present. I would never believe the words of Clinton or Obama. Also, I like the comments of Capt Private RallyPoint Member and LTC Stephen F. as well.

First off believe nothing Fox news posts or displays. They are corporate owned and have no one's interests at heart other than the shareholder and the CEOs.
It is my opinion that the attack on the embassy was a coordinated and planned event. That's my opinion. If there was a cover up, if intel was deliberately ignored etc. we'll likely never know. There were plenty of people in the know who so far are mum or have amnesia. Sadly, the only things we hear from the incident is from people writing books looking to cash in on one side of the issue or the other. Congress investigated this event twice and either due to incompetence or a lack of evidence had no way forward to prosecute either the Secretary of state or impeach the President. Thank you Mr. Isa and Mr. Gowdy. That's what we know. Hollywood, remember we can't trust them my fellow good Republicans, gave us a movie which was based, again i say based, on an incident that happened. It wasn't a documentary or biographical piece. How tightly based is a matter of conjecture. You can't have it both ways with hollyweird though; you trust them, you don't. Again, see the first statement on Fox news above. The left mysteriously doesn't seem to have a position on it and simply brushes it off as old news. To me, that's the real story along with what was said by the leftists which was "hacked" by the Russians. We the people do not ask the correct questions or demand the appropriate answers.

It's a good question of which I would have to say that there may be plenty we will never know about as well as those who gave their account of what happened on the ground.

In my opinion I believe it was a combination of events with the issue of the movie used as cover by those who attacked. So many things going on at that time, who is to say what the real deal was? We may never truely know.

Well seeing how those who were there helped make the movie I put Benghazi on President Obama. Secretary Clinton did not follow her responsibilities as Secretary of State but when it all went down, there's one person in the chain of command who has the right to employ and deploy U.S. troops and that's the President of the United States.

I agree that it was an intentional terrorist attack, but alot of the events that were depicted in the movie simply didn't happen. For instance, one gets an impression from the movie that SOF troops and F-16's were spun up, but weren't allowed to go. In the video below by Rep. Peter Roskam (R), he does a pretty good job of explaining how the the SF CIF and Marine FAST teams didn't have the air assets available to rapidly deploy them to Libya and how the F-16's were partially disassembled for maintenance checks. I believe that the guys at the Annex truly believe what they think happened, but they weren't everywhere, so they can't know the whole story. I mean there is a reason that the operators that did get to them had to commandeer a civilian jet and fly themselves to Benghazi.

EDIT: Also, one thing I'm pretty sure they exaggerated on (or at least hope they did) was how inept everybody else seemed to be, I know the director needed to do that to show the audience alot of the bureaucratic/interagency red tape that tends to gam up operations, as well as add an aspect of comedy to the film, but in my opinion he may have did that at the expense of the CIA, DS, and OGA personnel who were there. It seemed almost ridiculous at times how incompetent and naive everybody except the GRS operators were.

There are a number of interviews given by the survivors that testify to the accuracy of the book and the movie. Some of them were on the set the entire shooting of the movie to ensure accuracy.

Keep in mind, the book and the movie are meant to tell the story of the battle, not necessarily the politics of decision making. However, all of them worked against HRC during the election. That might be a clue how they felt about her role and story on the events in Benghazi.

I didn't watch it. There is just no way to put on film a firefight. So it does nothing for me. Nothing that Hollywood does will ever sway my opinion one way or another. They have no clue how the real world works.

There is no justice. Only politics. Something political happened that you and I are not allowed to know about and probably won't ever know about. Prime example would be USS Liberty in 1967. We're only just now - fifty years later - finding out what really happened. So while I admire the "guys" who were there, thats all it is. Admiration. They know/knew no more than you and I.
