This, is a huge debate which is garnering protests and hard questions, not only from Americans, but also France, Russia, and some of our allies. They don't understand Obama's stance on terrorism anymore than we do. Our country is being laughed at because of our lack of leadership, or so they think. If anyone understands Obama's strategy, please clue us in. I don't get it, but I'm just a United States citizen, veteran, tax paying voter. That's all. I feel like I'm about as important as a mosquito being smacked. In one part of this article, Obama accuses the Republicans for failing to understand the "grave consequences of sending troops to the volatile region." In my opinion, if Obama doesn't have the stomach to send troops into combat, which will help stop a lot of this terrorism, put someone in that has the guts.

ANTALYA, Turkey — President Barack Obama on Monday firmly rejected calls for a shift in U.S. strategy against the Islamic State following the Paris attacks, saying Republicans who want to send ground troops into the volatile region are "talking as if they're tough" but fail to understand the potentially grave consequences.

"Folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do," Obama said in a news conference wrapping up a two-day summit of world leaders in Turkey. "If they think that somehow their advisers are better than the chairman of my Joint Chiefs of Staff and the folks who are actually on the ground, I want to meet them. And we can have that debate."

Why is this a surprise? The man is a hard-left ideologue living in a world of his own manufacture and is unwilling to acknowledge anything that does not agree with his ideology. He has been that way from day one and has never tried to show any other face. He is absolutely convinced that he is right and is therefore totally uneducable.

He thinks that American power is the primary source for strife in the world and is determined not to use it under any circumstance.

Obama is this century’s Neville Chamberlain.

Perhaps the president is a sympathizer of these terrorist organizations? His actions really don't really show him as caring about the American people or the safety of the United States. I'm becoming more skeptical of his actions by the day. He has refused to call many of these acts of terror what they are. He refuses to identify Islamic terrorists or radical Islam as the cause of these terroristic actions.

He is a lame duck president that does not want to rock the boat, AND DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THE ME. He is surrounded by people like the SECDEF who has premonitions of a synthesis of the military and corporate world, and a State Department that has vacuous dreams of being relevant.

The ineffectiveness of aiding by not engaging is failing. Russia and the sleeping West European nations are now engaged in a global war. Not a good day for the administration which had overtake through pacifisity and passiveness.
