Why would the VA deny dental care within my community when the closest VA dental clinic is 70 miles from my residence?

100% Service Connected T&P Disabled Veteran.

The Closest VA Dental Clinic is 70 miles from my residence.

The Dental Clinic there is no way I can Receive Dental Service through Community Care regardless of the distance from my home to the Dental Clinic.

I've looked but have not found anything stating I cannot receive Dental Service in my community.

Does anyone have details as to why they would deny Community Care based on distance?

I have tried to get benefits for dental care and have been shuffled from provider to provider with nothing being done

Might just be someone doesn’t know what they are doing, or we are losing benefits and you are the first of many.

Did they answer when you asked them why? Have you tried going through patient advocacy? They have a way of cutting through the red tape.
