Deer Season. How many of you hunt?

How many hunters do we have out there. Deer season is upon us in two weeks. I use a Remmington 270

I so love hunting but since I'm no longer allow to eat I chose not to hunt. My rule how I was taugh going up. Only kill what you will eat. I don't believe in doing it for a sport.

Bow season opened this past weekend in TN. Time to fill the freezer again..lol

I use a .308, or a 30-30. Wife uses a .243

I used to prior to the AF when I was back in ND. Started off using a 243 and then upgraded to my dad's 270 once he got his 300 win mag.

I love deer hunting and use a Remington 742 in .30-06. Dad uses an M1 Garand that he got about 35 years ago from the CMP.

I love deer hunting. I’ve been hunting since I was about 17 years old. I use a civilianized M14 rifle with an ATN 6x18 X-sight scope. Soon will be receiving the ATN X-sight II, a serious upgrade to its predecessor. My hunting mag is blocked by a fitted piece of wood which reduces mag capacity by 10 rounds, making it legal by Kentucky laws.

Mathews Switchback during now season; TC Encore during muzzle-loader season; and either .270 Winchester or 7mm Rem Mag during general firearms season... in VA.
