According to local media reports, a threatening note was left on a service member’s car near Dobbins Air Force Base in Georgia.

The note read, in all lowercase:

“dear american soldier,

death to you coward women child killer and all the american military
mohammad will show no mercy on you
attacks will come full
force death is to come to you.”

According to a statement released by the Cobb County Police Department:

The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit, along with military investigators, continue to investigate the report of Terroristic Threats, which occurred at an office complex near Powers Ferry Road.

According to investigators, a note, which included threats of harm and referenced the victim’s affiliation to his military service, was left on the victim’s vehicle. It is possible that the victim was targeted due to having a license plate that identified him as being a service member.

This incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information about it is asked to contact [login to see] .

The note comes just a week after four Marines and one Navy Sailor were killed during an attack on military locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee by a Muslim suspect.

I saw this the other day. It smells like a copycat looking for attention. A Muslim wouldn't invoke Mohammed like that. It's nonsensical. They would invoke Allah instead. That said, head on a swivel. You're just as dead whether it's a Muslim or a faker if the threat is real.

I'm not so certain its a genuine threat. This syntax seems forced and no Muslim would say "mohammed" like that. They'd always say "The Prohpet." It could well be an attempt at provocation. I'm not saying it might not be genuine, but before anybody spins up I'd wait for the investigation to conclude.

we need to be on the watch for our fellow brothers and sisters in the military. If this is going on I am surprised there is no security camera footage if not in parking lot, maybe local businesses in area that may give a clue. You would be surpised how often I am asked to review my outside business cameras for the police. Also, I believe this administrations justice department will not put any effort and we need old school self reliance to handle these situations. Will leave it at that

A week ago I received a call from a CID agent from Fort Benning and a FBI agent informing me that I have been listed as a military Veteran targeted by ISIS within the United States. Was it a coincidence that I was cleaning my Springfield 1911A1 when I received this call? The CID special agent informed me to call 911 if I felt threatened or if I felt I was in danger. I told her that I would not bog down the 911 emergency line with a non-emergency call. When I call the police non-emergency phone number it will only be for requesting someone to come pack up Jihady John in a body bag.

1- A death threat from a terrorist won't start with "dear American soldier".

2-An Islamic terrorist might screw up the spelling of many words... But their prophet's name isn't one of them.

3-NO form of Islam believes their prophet has or doesn't have mercy on anyone. That would be Allah. No actual Islamic terrorist would make that mistake.

I suspect one of the guys buddies put it on his window as a joke and couldn't admit to it once an investigation was started. Two reasons. One, the comical language.
