We are not allowed to leave the area to go out and buy anything, and I do not want to go to sick call or anything because of likely quarantine(covid19 protocol) and possibly getting a profile and dropped from the course. Any suggestions on how to deal with this or has anyone had similar experiences?Dealing with foot problem in RASP?2020-08-09T13:57:22-04:00Tim Harvard6189686<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have what I am pretty certain is a foot corn, it is very painful while even just wearing shoes and standing. If you can deal with the pain mentally, it will involve other parts of your body compensating for the deficiency, which increases your risk of serious injury. I recommend going to sick call.Response by SPC Elijah J. That is what they are for. My room mate on my 1st ship left and went to BUDS. He went to medical for a knee problem while in 1st phase, got cleared. When he got back later that morning his room mate was dead because he didn't tell anyone he thought he was coming down with a cold. Thought he could power through on his own. He drowned during a long underwater swim. Small aches and pains are a part of life in the military, but if it endangers the lives of your fellow soldiers, it isn't worth it. GO to the docs, get the 5 minute corn shaving they do, and get back in training at 100%.Response by LT Brad McInnis made Aug 9 at 2020 5:54 PM2020-08-09T17:54:56-04:002020-08-09T17:54:56-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member6190562<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>duct tape over the injury. it will kill the bacteria. <br />it won't kill you, but will be uncomfortable. like life...Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 9 at 2020 7:36 PM2020-08-09T19:36:16-04:002020-08-09T19:36:16-04:00SGM Bill Frazer6190935<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Look, if you don't go to sick call to get it fixed- you could be dropped for not keeping up- which is worse a possible re-cycle or failure?Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Aug 9 at 2020 10:48 PM2020-08-09T22:48:13-04:002020-08-09T22:48:13-04:00SSG Laurie Mullen6191375<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Is it on the top of the foot/toes or is it on the bottom of the foot?
