Does anyone here listen to Dan Carlin's Unbelievable Podcast "Hardcore History?" If you don't, now is an excellent time to start. He just finished part VI of his six part series on WWI, a very underappreciated war in America. He has this narrative method where he perfectly blends empathy and objectivity into a very entertaining form.
Other great topics for all the History Buffs:
-Wrath of the Khans (Genghis Khan and Descendants)
-Ghosts of the Ostfront (WWII Eastern Front)
-Death Throes of the Republic (The Fall of the Roman Republic)
-Punic Nightmares (Punic Wars)
-Thor's Angels (Christianity, Barbarians, and the Early Middle Ages)
-Prophets of Doom (Protestant Reformation and the Radical Anabaptists)
-The American Peril (Rise of America on the World Stage)
-Macedonian Soap Opera (Successor Kingdoms to Alexander the Great)

Absolutely! fantastic stuff. I should probably stop listening to it while I run, because it probably means I'm not running fast enough, but for commutes? absolutely. Can't thumb you up enough 1LT (Join to see). And a big thanks to Capt (Join to see) and Capt (Join to see) for getting me onto it in the first place.
