As a DA select for recruiting, can you travel without a 1610 form or is that stuff done at the school house?

I’m DA select and my schools NCO never did anything for DTS because it’s a cross Org fund with RRC. But can you travel with no 1610 form or is that stuff done at the school house?

Matt, the last 10 years of my career I did my own DTS, that is how it is designed and you should be able to plan your PCS and get the cross org from the school house. S4 and G4 folks should be able to help you out. If Company or battalion are no assistance, go to brigade POC.

DTS is YOUR responsibility, not your training NCO. Your training NCO takes care of ATRRS. The rest is on you.

If you go onto the ATRRS course catalog there are instructions about the 1610 right there under school information

I believe u can get a 1610 from DTS. It’s been several years when I lastre used DTS.

Update. I figured it out. Lol. I just never had to do it myself and usually Schools NCO takes care of it for the BN but the unit was on a training schedule so the help was minimal on rear d. But got it figured out, thanks to all
