CSMs, What would you see as more favorable when looking at a DA Photo? Rare foreign jump wings or the German Shootzenschnuer?

The Shutzenschnur is what I'd go with. The cord and badge look sharp.
Make sure it is hung correctly, though.

The schützenschnur if board directions allowed for it. I know both it and foreign jump wings well.. While both are largely right unit/place/time kind of deal... the schützenschnur is more work (though less guts.. I did not like jumping with the Canadians, much less another nations jumpers I shall not mention.. who have GREAT soldiers, but spineless State level and upper commanders, and down right scary Jump process) )

Are you with an Airborne unit? They may say one thing over another. Which ever one is harder to earn but recognizable by the board as most will not be paratroopers.

Any foreign jump wings but the rarer the better.

Either are a reflection of doing extra and on an official level I'd view them equally. Personally I always thought the Gold Schützenschnur was more difficult to get. The foreign wings to me remain kind of being in the rite unit, rite time, rite partnership mission kind of thing.

Personally foreign jump wings are nothing special to me. I have been working towards my gold german wings though. Out of your options though I would say the German Shootzenschnuer because you have to earn it by meeting certain criteria.

An airborne operation that include foreign counties as part of the jumpmaster teams giving commands is more or less the same as a regular jump (Army jumpmasters still echo commands in English).

Now if you manage to actually travel to that particular country and earn them, it is a lot more meaningful to the person. As far as boards go though, I don't think they care.
