Craziest engine swap or car modification you've ever seen.

I've said before that cars modifications in PR are a big thing, from "What would you do that?!" to "NOW THAT'S AWESOME!". I've seen a lot, but budget there is not that high so, they pretty much want to go fast with the less amount possible invested.

Then I got here and I've seen some CRAZY modifications, some that wouldn't even pass through your mind. Would you even imagine a Porsche with a Corvette engine? Well, there you have the pic. In PR I got to see and old RX-7 with a Chevy 350 engine, a 92 Civic hatchback with a H22 engine and an old Mirage with a Galant 3.0 V6 in it. The engine swaps that I've seen here make those mentioned look like school projects.

Have you modified a car beyond recognition? What is the craziest modification or engine swap you've ever seen? If you can post pics, BETTER!

My step brother had the Shelby Dodge Omni GLH (Shelby said that stood for Goes Like Hell) with a roll bar and a V8 engine mounted longitudinally. The thing was go-kart fast, but what I really remember was that it could take a cloverleaf at 60 mph. Faced pressed against the passenger window...
It looked like regular compact hatchback, but it was a beast.

My brother bought a '67 Camero / 327. He swapped a buddy of his for a Impala SS 409. He put it together with some modifications and it was dangerously fast. Only problem, the rear pinion gear that holds the axles in, broke. My dad called me to meet him and and my brother. They wanted me to drive behind my brother's car, and when the axels starting moving to the outside of the rear end, I had to honk and we would jack it up and push the axles back in. The first time I honked I couldn't stop laughing and calling him a dumbass for leaving the original 327 cu. inch 3.08:1 rear end in. I still hammer him about that. Lol

As a proud 03 Terminator owner, and a Chevy 1500 owner, I'm biased as hell. I'm tired of the doggone LS into a fox body swaps, but that's not as bad as the 2JZ swaps I've seen in foxes. I also am feeling weird being I've seen a Subaru with a coyote 5.0, and a Vette with a coyote 5.0 in it. But the Willy's LSX Jeep is wicked! I wouldn't want to line up next to it on my best day. Beater Bomb is another fast sleeper that is LSX powered and beats a** (but I'm tired of the LS swaps in Fords). The Big Boss(?) 350ci motorcycles are huge...I'm tall and fat, but that bike makes me look small and skinny. In the end, if it's fast and again I'm biased towards American Muscle (no replacement for displacement)...I'm down.

A couple I've seen were a friend of mine in high school shoe horned a 289 Mustang engine into a Ford Pinto and some guy in the Air Force put a 350 into a VW Beetle (in the front).

LSX Willys, 2JZ swapped Stangs, and sadly have yet to see the FA20-T swapped into anything.
