He had to deal with a POS chain of command that buried his MoH because he called out their incompetence. It is sad that I have seen this scenario play out more than once where crappy leaders have ended the careers of good officers. I am pretty sure he is going to get picked up BZ for the rest of his career. I always thought that under different circumstances he would have stayed in. It must have taken a lot for him to make this decision and I for one am glad that he did.
