Do you prefer your cookies soft or hard?

Ok, it's cookie baking season (The most favorite time of the year!). But this always brings up a controversy in our house. Seems the grandkids all want theirs soft, but the adults like them hard. What's your preference, soft or hard and are we raising a bunch of softies?

I don't care myself, I'll cover them with ice cream and eat them the way they are, need to toughen up the jaw muscles for the holiday feasting any way Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen

I prefer them soft; however, soft on the inside and hard on the outside, is PERFECT! Usually, they are that way after cooling from being freshly baked... Yum
