You have already been to basic, so it might be a faster process for you once you do all of the paperwork. Officers don't enlist but we do incur a minimum initial service time of 6 years with 2 additional years on IRR if we don't resign our commission. If we don't resign our commission and get out or retire, we are placed on IRR status until age 60-62 and can be called back to service. If you want to be active do not go into your states ocs program. You will never get out of the guard after that.
