They are a two win team with nothing pride to play for, and they did exactly that. The Army Cadets played with pride. Yes it is a rivalry, yes it hurts when they lose, but this year the Cadets have nothing to hang their heads about. What an awesome game that was to watch.

From my perspective, the Army Navy Football game is the best game of the year. It beats out all other rivalry games. There are games that have a funny trophy associated with them Paul Bunyan's axe for example, but none of them compare to watching both teams gather with the cadet corps to sing the Alma Maters of the two schools. Seeing on field rivals come together is awesome.

Putting into another perspective, it was mentioned on Saturday (sort of obvious in retrospect) it is one of three games played in the season where all of the players are willing to die for all of the viewers. (The other two being Army Vs. Air Force and Navy Vs. Air Force).Response by PO3 Steven Sherrill made Dec 14 at 2015 10:10 AM2015-12-14T10:10:58-05:002015-12-14T10:10:58-05:00PO3 Steven Sherrill1174298

SFC Joe S.
