Webinars are one of the new features we are excited to bring to the community in 2016. We'd like to have relevant learning topics based on what is most interesting and important to you. A few of the ideas are listed in the survey below, but we'd like to know additional topics you'd want to see as well. Hope this can be something useful for our active duty and veteran members.

Since we have multiple branches and occupations comprised within membership, the topics should be broad in nature and applicable to a large segment of the RP population. Pay, retirement, education, VA updates, etc. Great addition to the site.

If I was AD, if there was a portal where I could chat F2F with a SNCO to ask for guidance or advice on career or personal development (sometimes going in-house isn't the greatest, and a fresh mind is good), same for officers, anything education related, maybe even a VA rep who meets once a week on here to answer questions and WILL provide actionable advice or information regarding the claims, counseling, or the like, explain how to use the benefits. A lot of vets KNOW they get them, but not many know HOW or WHEN to use them. There are some SERIOUSLY smart people on here. I've been blessed to have a lot of them as contacts and know they wouldn't steer me wrong. I bet they'd give advice very well. Might not be what I want to hear, but I know it'd be what I NEED to hear. Let Rally Point teach Rally Point. Also I forgot jobs. Again RP has blessed me with NCO's who are in places that are hiring and have hit me up. Maybe a place where they could post them and get and give feedback would help a LOT of folks on here. Maybe "Job of the Week" where the poster talks about the job in question, solicits questions and give answers. TO. MUCH. WIN!!!

Capt Brandon Charters Elizabeth Malkin I think all of these topics are good but should follow a series approach. For example, the first Tuesday of every month could be education based, the first Wednesday small unit tactics CPT Private RallyPoint Member, which could cover rangering, the second Friday industry based engagements etc. This will help RP members gain a much deeper understanding of the subjects. Also, it will help RP members who enjoy similar subjects meet and build relationships by meeting regularly on RP for webinars. Finally, it will provide enough time for a couple different information approaches per subject: 1st webinar is an overview, second webinar is a guest speaker, third webinar is a Q&A, and fourth is a close out. Sounds like a cool idea for the community and whatever format is used you can count me in.

How about one on deciphering jargon between services? I am not joking, half the time I have idea what people are talking about. O_o
