- Good effort by Comcast / NBC Universal.
- I'd be interested in seeing three years from now how successful or not they are and why.
- The cynic in me says this is just another empty promise being delivered to get a positive headline. The optimist in me says the company is being genuine.

Actually the original goal was 1000 vets in 1000 days. We hired 1000 vets in 300 days. So they upped it to 2000 vets in 2000 days we met that goal and 450 days. So then we raised it to 5000 vets in 5000 days we met that goal in two years. If the trend keeps going We will blow this goal out of the water and half the time.

COL Smallfield, I also appreciate your comments... there are many players in this space and not all are ernest. I know Captain Bass personally and I have watched him grow this initiative. His team has full executive level support, he is engaging and celebrating current military affiliated associates within Comcast and preparing them to support and mentor new self identified employees. I hope that you do stay tuned for the next three years because with a man like Captain Baas at the helm, and the support that he has at the very highest levels within his company, we will see results and military families will benefit.
