The Brits hold elections with limited campaigning for Parliament, I think it's 6 weeks. I don't see why we couldn't do it in a month. Congress could change election day if necessary, but under no circumstances should they change inauguration day--not by even one minute!Response by Lt Col Jim Coe made Oct 10 at 2016 9:21 PM2016-10-10T21:21:32-04:002016-10-10T21:21:32-04:00ENS Private RallyPoint Member1963819<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'd think such an occasion would be unprecedented. I feel that HRC would be the first person to be taken out of the election. As far as Donald Trump, I don't feel he should be eligible, but at the moment, there is nothing saying that he isn't. Neither candidate is a good choice in my opinion. There should be some contingency in place when no candidate is worth electing - instead of forcing the American public to vote for (in all honesty) two horrible candidates. Yes, there are other options, but none which will generate enough votes to stand a real chance (in my opinion.) <br /><br />Kick the current guy out under the 8 year limit, let the Vice President stand while the American public holds another election. No bipartisan BS - just an open election.Response by ENS Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 10 at 2016 9:23 PM2016-10-10T21:23:56-04:002016-10-10T21:23:56-04:00SPC Erich Guenther1963823<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That would be interesting but same political party as the President and the old "good of the country" excuse. I would guess a pardon would be issued at that point. However, don't think her term will be scandal free if she gets elected, I have pretty high confidence the past behavior won't change.<br /><br />Trump would have to commit and be charged with a Felony to become unelectable so would Hillary. I believe that is the only barrier to the office at this point.Response by SPC Erich Guenther made Oct 10 at 2016 9:26 PM2016-10-10T21:26:01-04:002016-10-10T21:26:01-04:00Cpl Private RallyPoint Member1963825<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't care what new email comes out, IMHO, there is plenty out today that makes her unelectable.Response by Cpl Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 10 at 2016 9:26 PM2016-10-10T21:26:05-04:002016-10-10T21:26:05-04:00SFC George Smith1963829<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>then we would have to start all over... or just Keep BHO...NOT!!!!!...
