If you want proof go see the movie "We Were Soldiers" or read the book "We Were Soldiers, Once and Young". I typically don't comment on the inner workings of the solar system because I know I don't know anything about it. But I do know infinitely more about infantry close combat than 99% of... those pushing this agenda, to include the CSA, Chairman of the JCS, and all of the senators and Representatives who have never had two soldiers killed standing to their right and one to my left when an enemy machine gun opened fire, and then had to rally a rifle company. How about going forward of my company position twice to bring back a dead lieutenant and a wounded soldier. How many women can carry back a gut shot soldier?
Do you believe women will carry their equivalent share of the load in an infantry unit? The PC environment that has forced these changes to take effect have been more about political grandstanding than the reality of women in Infantry or combat MOSs, while I believe in equality for both genders, I also believe in reality and common sense for everyone's overall safety and protection.
Response by SFC James Baber made Jan 22 at 2014 4:15 PM 2014-01-22T16:15:33-05:00 2014-01-22T16:15:33-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 242777

An excellant article, nice to see someone worrying about combat effectiveness instead of being fair.
