Christopher Hitchens vs Peter Hitchens. Thoughts?

Peter is undoubtedly controversial but before Christopher died, they debated God and His Existence. The Juxtaposed positions and their way with language was a real treat. I love the both of them and sad that Christopher succumbed to cancer.

The essence of debate is give and take and it seems that we have gotten way from that. Regardless, they are amazing and they both have valid points and Peter has a book out about the attacks on Christianity.

By the way, Christopher angered the Muslims over their brutality, among other things.

I concur with Peter Hitchen's position in this debate SSgt Private RallyPoint Member and most of my extended family is in England. WE have seen how the acceptance of same sex relationships and the new "tolerance" has played out in England and we will see it continues to play out here over the next couple years.
Christopher Hitchens was an avowed atheist throughout his life. Being brothers they grew up together and loved each other throughout their lives even while maintaining polar opposite positions in many areas.
Christopher Hitchens has died and now he knows the truth about the existence of God.

Debate, discussion, intelligent conversation are all fading in this world of social media. Original words and thoughts that would ebb and flow as dilation expanded each participants boundaries now give way to 'memes' 40 word shots, and emoticons. Dialogue is still available just more difficult to find.
