Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee Bumped From Main GOP Debate. Darn, I liked Christie. Did you?

I was hoping Christie would gain enough points to continue campaigning. But, he didn't and so was bumped from the GOP debates. Now that there are fewer candidates, maybe they will get serious about the debates, and answer questions critical to our country's wellbeing. Keep praying for us to get a great POTUS. We need one to mend our country from the separation that has happened in recent years.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee have failed to qualify for next week's main Republican presidential debate hosted by Fox Business Network and The Wall Street Journal.

This is the first time in the election cycle that candidates have been bumped from the main debate to the undercard forum.

In order to qualify for the main debate, candidates needed to poll at an average of 2.5 percent or higher in the four most recent national surveys. Christie and Huckabee did not meet that threshold, and will instead join Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum in an earlier forum.

I really like Christie. Says what he thinks. Kinda would like to see a Carson/Christie card for the primary election.

Not a fan of Gov Christie. Won't be missing him. Sort of neutral on Mike Huckabee. Seems that not many others were any more enthusiastic. It's the nature of Presidential politics that one wins, all the others lose. The sooner, the cheaper.

Met him and was around him a couple times last year. I was the head soccer referee at the Special Olympics USA games which were held in the Princeton area. He does a good job sucking the O2 out of a room; his ego being pretty large. Interesting thing, the athletes would say hi to them but quickly ditched him in favor of the WWE beefcake that showed up.

I expect they will. This is suposed to be just about finance. No liberal moderator that wants to score points with Hillary. And make a name for themselves. But you will never see it at a Hillary debate.

At this point they are not polling high enough based in the parameters established by the debate commission so they do not deserve to be on stage

Christy is not gone yet - his poll ratings have just not caught up with his more recent performance.

I liked Christie, unfortunately that scandal involving the closing the tolls during rush hour did him in. If he had got out in front of it, he probably would have been a front runner
