MSgt Vincent Perez I assume that you are talking about VA Special Monthly Compensation. You need to talk to a VVA, VFW or DAV Veteran Service Officer.

Yes. The exam for SSD can be used for evidence when filing for VA Disability. One of the things you should know is that if you receive VA Disability, there is a chance that your SSD will go down because you are receiving money from the VA.
