I keep a spreadsheet of my hours and what I&#39;ve accomplished and file for points rather than monetary gain. In the end pints is money towards your retirement. Last year I earned an extra 38 points just for doing my job outside of normal drill weekends. If you can plan ahead of time and get approval for using a 1380 that will be your best course of action, but I haven&#39;t seen much success of this as long as I&#39;ve been in. Once you make SGT you will be able to add your extra time and effort as bullet points on your NCOER.
