Can we keep the Prayers going for our Brother here on RallyPoint?

I pormised Amy the sister of CW2 William D Barber Jr that I would keep the RP Community updated on his status. His sister sent me this message:

"Hello Sir my Brother is still holding on but still No change, I am now taking over for my Brother who takes care of Homeless Vets and there family My Brother has 27 familys living under five Bridges and five farms in our County has been given to my Brother to house the Familys and there love one,, my Brother was Able to get lowes to help out by remodeling the barns into a very Nice living space m and Building Nice three bed rooms under each bridge with heat water and full Bathrooms, I just Needed to tell you some about my brother .......Amy"

I'm gald she shared this information about what William was doing to help veterans find shelter - this is a testimony to the many brothers and sisters in arms that continue to fight for and work for those in need coming out of the military service.

Let's keep those prayers going for a fighter, a warrior, and Brother in Arms!

Heavenly Father, you grieve perfectly since you are God. We your children grieve imperfectly as we are being conformed into the image of Christ who had compassion on those the world rejects. In the power and authority of the name above all names I pray that you would comfort Amy while she cares for and grieves for her brother CW2 William D Barber Jr. I pray that guide the hands and minds of each person treating or ministering to him and his extended family. Let your light shine through your children to those who need Your peace, grace and mercy throughout this process.

Even if he weren't, I pray fervent, FERVANT prayers that the Good Lord will heal him; and that he might return to a pain-free, suffering-no-more life....for all of us who love him.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - Mikel; Much as I am heartened to see the good work that is being done, I am also saddened to think that "adequate housing" now means weathertight shelters with bathrooms under bridges.
