Can TPU to TPU transfer orders be cancelled due to involuntary MOB?? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-tpu-to-tpu-transfer-orders-be-cancelled-due-to-involuntary-mob

I requested a transfer from a unit because we were overstrength in my position. The transfer request was signed and I now have orders transferring me to the new unit. Can these orders be revoked before the effective date of the transfer?? After the paperwork had been by my submitted to S1 from my HHC CDR, my LTC said that I could be involuntarily mobilized to a unit inside our Command. My new unit is in another Command. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I would even go as far to say it can happen outside of our chain of command as well, because what truly is our chain of command?

I suppose at the same level from different commands we can't be snatched away, but in that case they just go up one more level and poof we are now in the same command.

I speculate that commanders and 1SG's are least likely to be snatched away as an individual augmentee, but there is nothing stopping it (technically).
