I've had guys come in making life plans around reenlistment options that don't exist, because they heard it from the Private News Network. Always ask for the source.

There is no Army program to get your paramedic license. You can get your paramedic as part of the flight paramedic course. You can go to school on your own at your location. There is a new course, I can't remember the name, to give certain medics within the units elevated training. Some units have even managed to send their medics to paramedic school after they reenlisted for stability. But there is currently no Army sponsored course to get your paramedic outside of the flight medic program. It's a pilot program that has nothing to do with flight medic. Currently have a soldier that participated and graduated from said program within the last year. Otherwise you can use TA and go to a tech/community college on your own time for the certification unless you go flight medic.
