I am trying to reclass to 35T, but I am still waiting for my Top Secret w/SCI interim to be adjudicated. Should I extend? Or should I continue to try and wait it out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My fear is extending then me receiving my Interim and me having to wait until I am in my reenlistment window. Can someone help provide me with guidance in what they would do in my situation?2019-02-20T18:19:08-05:00SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member4385650<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Currently, I am in my reenlistment window. But there are several different variables that come into play. I would talk to your servicing Career Counselor about all your optionsResponse by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 6:21 PM2019-02-20T18:21:38-05:002019-02-20T18:21:38-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member4385666<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You should extend under a W extension, that will give you 6 months of stabilization.<br />As soon as you get your interim you can request a voluntary Reclass, you don't have to be in your reenlistment window. You're reenlistment window will reopen 22 June 2019, that's 4 months from today. Your career counselor can lock in your reenlistment option 30 days prior. There are 90 days between now and then that you won't be in your reenlistment window.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 6:23 PM2019-02-20T18:23:04-05:002019-02-20T18:23:04-05:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member4385708<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Civil Affairs packet, even if you get selected you could say no thanks and become a 35T anyway. Or if you accept being selected, you'd be reupping for 38B MOS training.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 6:41 PM2019-02-20T18:41:52-05:002019-02-20T18:41:52-05:002019-02-20T18:19:08-05:00
