Time for him to put his money where his mouth is....he said he is taking revenge, lets see what he's going to do....I don't have a problem observing him for a round or two while we develop some actionable intelligence and Courses of Action and focus on at what is happening at the homefront.

What will be the Russian strategy, probably a rush to failure.

Considering the current state of foreign affairs with the Russian government, it would be difficult for those two leaders to see eye-to-eye. Their ideas to eliminate the threat seem to be 180 degrees out of phase. With Putin aiding Assad and BO aiding the rebels against Assad, how can they come to common ground on ISIS? How is this not another proxy fight in the cold-war?

I think that Vladimir Putin and Russia can be very effective against ISIS SPC Andrew Griffin. I do not think they will be an allie of ours or France's since we are part of NATO. However we can certainly work towards the same shared goals while differing significantly in others.
