Can postpartum soldiers dx their ASU if they don’t fit or do we have to buy a new set? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-postpartum-soldiers-dx-their-asu-if-they-don-t-fit-or-do-we-have-to-buy-a-new-set <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Pregnancy did not go my way in weight loss after delivery, I unexpectantly just started to rapidly gain weight. I am doing everything I need to do to get back on track for my army standards but unfortunately my dress uniform does not fit :( yes I am embarrassed no I was not lazy lol they just don’t fit. Can I dx them instead of buying big ones and then lose the weight and have to buy another smaller set? Can anyone point me in the right direction. Good luck to you. SFC Michael D. Your clothing allowance is for buying new ones. You&#39;ll probably never be the same size as your pre-pregnancy weight, but it&#39;s normal for people to grow as they age. Even your dress uniform is expected to be replaced over time. Since you haven&#39;t gotten taller, you may be able to simplify have your jacket and pants taken out by a seamstress, if there&#39;s enough material. Somehow those I wore during deployments and other times I was away from home cooking always seemed to shrink up when I had been home for a while. Often found uniforms for sale at a fraction of their new price from people leaving service or the second hand shop on base. It becomes the responsibility of the service member. Everything that has to do with weight fluctuation is the responsibility of the Soldier.
