Can my divorce decree get me in trouble by the Army?

So I had a process server served a friend of mine with my divorce documents because spouse won’t sign the divorce paperwork. As soon as I get my divorce decree from the court, will legal still be able to process it and will my divorce will be finalized?

Civilian criminal charges almost always impact on military careers. From what you’ve stated above, you’ve committed a “fraud on the court” (JAG types please correct if I’m incorrect). If your wife contests the divorce, or just a wants to screw with you, the judge reviewing the case will verify that the process server served the correct person. Once, the “fraud” is exposed, the divorce will be set aside, and criminal charges will be initiated against you.
My advice, talk to a lawyer (not sure JAG will handle it) to see your exposure and to see if you can rescind the “service”.

I don't understand this "wouldn't sign" deal. Every state has the equivalent of Rule 103 Service. Newspaper publishing, pinned to front door of last known residence. "A risk I am willing to take" and then ask if you can get in trouble. WOW

Whenever I am asked about a prior marriage, I tell people that I introduced my ex-wife to her current husband a week after I finished reading “The Prince” by Niccolò Machiavelli.
